Spacecoop and West 8 worked as a team on the largest urban business park in Madrid. The green spaces are designed on sustainable landscape philosophies reusing the existing woodland to create a linear park that connects the office and commercial plots. The planting strategy was designed to reduce water consumption over time, so that after 5-10 years the irrigation would be almost totally decommissioned. Robust granite benches and curbstones were used to give the “parkland” style campus a sense of place and longevity.
